Using Coupons: Encouraging Hope

Our mission is two-fold. 

I've used coupons for approximately 15 years.  When I began college, the costs were outrageous (and don't I wish those were the prices today!), and I was looking for any way to cut costs!  Using coupons has changed dramatically over the years, and I've learned an incredible amount of information that helps my family and I stretch a very small budget!


1.  Retire With Coupons now offers workshops!  It covers the basics of coupon use, organization, finding current sales, store rebates, internet goldmines, online vs. offline couponing, question & answer session, and specific, detailed explanations of some of my best deals!  

     I offer in-home workshops, as well as workshops to agencies, organizations, educational facilities, and other
     companies who are interested in sharing this financial vision with their clients and employees.

     A minimum of five people, pre-paid, is required for each workshop. 

     Each class is two hours and costs $20 per person.  Every participant will receive a gift bag, including
     handouts, a printed copy of my electronic Refund & Coupon How To Book, as well as items I've purchased for
     just pennies! 

For our in-home workshops, in exchange for providing your home, beverages and a snack during our break, the host/ess is free!

For our company workshops, if a minimum of ten people, pre-paid, is met, the cost will drop to $15 per person!

2.  By utilizing coupons, we're able to donate needed items within our community, encouraging hope among those who need it most!  During the week of September 29, 2008, I purchased 116 boxes of cereal, and five boxes of fruit snacks for only $10.25!  On October 4, 2008, my children and I donated 72 boxes of cereal within our community!

Would you like to help?  Save your coupons for us from the newspapers!  That's all it takes!  If you'd like to mail them, please send several weeks at a time, and save on postage!  We can use expireds, so don't worry about the dates!  Please send the full inserts, instead of cutting them out individually.  We file entire inserts by date, so we may find what we're looking for easier!
